God is a GOOD GOD and so WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!!!!! We had a great experience this go round. Zac was released at 7 am this morning but had to wait for a wheelchair so we arrived home around 1. We are exhausted but so glad to be home. Zac is kicked back in the recliner drawing all over his hand and face with magic markers glad to be home. I'll post more later when I can write clearly, but I do want to say that Zac is a walking miracle. He shouldn't have been able to walk at all. His left leg was a mess and nothing was were it should be or connected to what it should have been, the bones were hollow and they think it was a twins leg and not his. They had never ever seen anything like it in their careers and they see alot of people. They want to start getting his new leg next week when we go back to Indy for bandage changes.... Then I think it will be off to grandmas in the next 2 to 3 weeks for a much needed break and Zac needs to meet his grandma and have a little fun in Hotlanta. Ok back to supervising the wheelchair fun ride in the next room!!!!!
Much Love

I was chacking daily to see how he and you were doing. So glad it went well. Kepp us updated. Jenne (your victory buddy)
Lisa,
So glad that Zac, once again, has come through surgery with strength and courage! You, too, my friend. Your outlook sounds great and your children are blessed & lucky to have you as their mom through all of this madness.
Thinking of you lots.
Holly
There is absolutely NOBODY else like Zac. He continues to amaze us. Can't wait to see him heal and at some point get his new prosthetic leg. It has been almost exactly one year for Lan and while we still have issues with her stump, we are so glad to see how she has recovered and adapted. We are happy to help in any way if we can as Zac gets used to life without his limb.
We sure are sending out our support to Lisa as well. Its a hard thing to be able to juggle all these medical issues and the stress of a little boy who is so tired of being poked and prodded. Hang in there Zac and Lisa and the rest of the Pfenning family. And what a good friend he has in Zoe too. Just like their blog is titled, this is one incredible family and we are so proud of them!
