Update On Zac

Please say a prayer for Zac! When we went for his post op and bandage change last week the wound was getting necrotic. The Dr said not to worry it happens sometimes but come back in 1 week to recheck, which was fine the boys were being casted for their new leg and foot so we'd just stop by there 1st. Well we get there yesterday and they take the bandages off and there is a lot of blood. Well the skin that had died around the stitches and wound was being pulled away from Zac's activity. So the put my baby in a spica. It was a painful experience for him because he just had spinal surgery 2 months ago and the cast sits right on the scar tissue where they did the surgery it was still tender to begin with and now a hard cast is pushing on it constantly. He is miserable to say the least! Now that he has an extra what feels like 40 lbs I can't haul him like I did before so we don't know what we will do! Please pray the wound is healed when they take the cast off in 2 weeks and he doesn't have to do it again. We leave for grandmas the day after the appointment and 14 hours in a tight car with a spica will not work and Zac is being dedicated at church when we get there. We thought we were on our way to being normal again whatever that is. Zac is just discouraged and wants to get out and play and ride a bike. That has now been pushed back a bit. Thank you for the prayers!!!!
