We are Alive

The flu came to visit us this last week and a half and man we are so glad to see them leave!!!!!! Zoe started the party last thur and the whole family has dropped daily (except for Zac) since. Today is the 1st day I have even felt like checking in. So I apologize to all of you who check here daily for updates!
Zac is doing really well post op. His back is healing nicely and he is running and wreaking havoc like a normal 5 yr old kid. The weather is getting nicer and I am having a hard time keeping him inside ( I think we need a fence). The only problem we have with Zac is his need to draw on the furniture, carpet, walls, toys everything but on paper, and his need to hit doors and walls with objects putting holes in everything!!!! Any ideas on how to channel this gift are coveted!!!!
We meet with the boys' orthopedic surgeon on mon for surgery date and game plan for Zacs leg. I have yet to hear about Zac's genetic testing results or his ultrasound results. We will restart testing on Zac's spine and bladder in another month to see if his surgery was successful. We will be so glad when all of this is behind us. The people at the local hospital we use for Zac's tests now know us when we walk in!!!! Zac is touching so many lives with his story and he doesn't even speak english well enough yet!
Tues is the big day for Zoe and Zac. They go to sign up for kindergarten!!! Sniff sniff!!!!! What will Zeb and I do without them this fall? Hmm maybe we need a baby sister!!!!
