Mark and I have been sick all week but yesterday I propped myself up to the kitchen counter to build the dream cake Zoe has been asking me for all year I couldn't let her down. It could have been so much better if I felt better but it's not too horrible for my first crack at cake castle building! Zoe was breathless this morning when she seen it waiting for her on the table this morning. I wonder what she will ask for next year!!!! I hope something simple!
On the adoption of Noah front our homestudy is waiting on our adoption agencies approval and then we can apply for our I171h. I hope this gets done quickly as it has been 2 months since we wrote our LOI for our new son. We still haven't recieved pre approval so I am biting my nails on that one. I so wanted to get everything done and get to China this summer before the Olympics but it is looking like fall in Guangzhou for this family of soon to be 5.
Ok so it's off to eat what took hours to create and then off to Zoe's 1st trip to Build A Bear for her surprise from us! Ok it is more for her daddy than for her as he is so excited and insistent that she get to make a bear and well being the good wife I have to cave sometimes for him!!!!!
Happy 1st weekend of March everyone. I'll try to post pictures of Zebidiahs adoption when we recoup from the party and the flu!!!!!!

Lisa, I can't believe you did this cake all by yourself, that is INCREDIBLE. What a lucky girl Xoe is to have a mama that can make a cake like this one. Great job. I hope Noah can come home soon.

Thanks guys! I have a lot of fun staying up half the night trying to figure out how to make these birthday cakes for the kids! So far we have Cinderella dool cake and Thomas the Train and a castle. I pray they start getting easier the castle really was a challenge!!!
