Thank You Zoe

4 Years ago We embarked on an amazing journey. A journey I never ever dreamed of ever taking. Mark and I boarded a plane and thus began the start of 4 of the most amazing years of our lives. On Jan 24,2005 Mark and I with 3 other couples were given the greatest gift ever. We sat in a very cold room signed tons of paperwork tried to make small talk when we were all so anxious I know I could have thrown up. Then in 1 magical moment we all heard a baby cry and we knew our daughters had arrived. Zoe came to me with a beautiful red pantsuit she was playing with her name tag and she melted my heart the moment I saw her. Oh she was the most beautiful little girl I had ever saw. In that 1 moment I got it. This is how GOD feels about me. This is what adoption is. From the moment Zoe was placed in my arms I was deeply utterly and completely IN LOVE. I would stand before a speeding train to protect her. I would sell everything I own to keep her fed I would die so that she can live. I can't believe it has been 4 years since that day in Nanchang China. Wow were did it go?
Zoe is such a wonderful daughter. She has such faith in GOD and trusts him for everything. I don't know where she got that. She is a great comforter and always tells me Mom GOD wants to tell you "He Loves You"
Zoe is such a light and can make friends with anyone. She is so caring and patient. Yes she sometimes gets frustrated with her brothers but hey they gang up on her. She wants to be a rock star when she grows up and adopt 12 boys and girls from China. We are so blessed to have this sweet tender smart funny girl in our life. Thank you GOD for giving us just what we needed. Thank you Zoe for being our daughter. You bring so much joy into our home. I Love you so so much. Happy Anniversary Sweet Girl !!!!!!!!!
