Waiting on Consulate Appointment

Well fri we sent in our request for a consulate appointment. The website says it can take up to 2 business days to get a confirmation in writing. Mon started last night in China so we could know today or very late tonight early morning tommorrow. I really want to leave this week so we can get home before Christmas eve. I believe in miracles don't you? We have been told it will be next week at the soonest but when God ordains we leave we will leave and no one will get in the way of that!!!!! So in that spirit I am almost packed just need to check the weather in Guangzhou to see if I should pack for cool or warm. Mark is hoping for warm as he is tired of snow and cold already! I hope he gets his wish because I have very little room in the suitcases for our clothes! We have 1 1/2 large suitcases fill to weight limit with clothes and blankets to leave with Zacs friends left behind. I wish we could take more but we no more luggage space!!!! I can't believe we are finally at this place! It has been such a long year with so many character building trials for us. It is almost over and we will have our son home finally. Please pray for Zac as he makes this journey to a new world. I know he will be scared and to have to leave with strangers and go to a foriegn country where he doesn't speak the language etc... he will need lots of prayers.
I'll try to update as much as I can from China. We don't have a laptop and are believing to get a room at the hotel with a computer in it so we can call the kids and update the site and maybe upload pictures. If we don't get that room we will have to find computers at the coffee shop on the island and sometimes there is a long line so we are going to do our best and are just going to believe God will work this out! I will post again before we leave and let you know our dates. We expect Awsome miracles in the next days and weeks to come.... God is so good and his word to our family will not be broken!!!!!! Thank You Father for that!!!!! Ok off to do laundry and get this house clean!!! Much Love to you all!!!!!

Ok I'll pray if you really want to be back by Christmas, but I think it would be neat to be over there! But I understand wanting to be home!!!

We did find computers in the hotels at the business offices. We took our laptop but had such a time with it that I wished we had left it at home!!

Hi Lisa,
It's Marcy in Guam from the CHI yahoogroup and the Kids with Limb Differences group. I just wanted to wish you a great trip. I am so happy that Zac is coming home. He is precious. From the time I saw his referral picture, I prayed and prayed for his family to find him and I was so thrilled when you did!

I'm looking forward to following along on your journey! Don't worry about not taking a laptop. I didn't, and just used the computers in the hotel business centers with no problem. And there are internet cafes in GZ if you prefer that. I didn't envy the people in the airport security lines who had laptops and had to drag them out of their cases and sometimes turn them on for the security officers.
No worries for you! :)

Take care,
Marcy
