Busy Busy

I can't believe it has been 13 days since the call came that our LOA was here! Where did those days go? The kids started practicing staying the night at GBs house last weekend and did great! Yes I will admit I was kinda sad that they didn't fall all over themselves glad to see me come back for them and didn't bother to tell me bye when I left. I am glad they did well and am relieved it will be harder on me to leave them than it will be on them! I was able to start our Christmas shopping and the boys are almost done. Zoe on the other hand is a a bit harder to shop for. She told me that she wanted to wait on doll houses and furniture until her sister is home and they can share them and play with them together and that it will be more fun to get those gifts with a sister. I have explained to her that a sister may never happen and it just might turn out that she is our only girl. Well she doesn't believe me! My question is when did girl stuff get so expensive???? $38 for a HSM doll bed! Huh! Next on her list is a guitar, and the HM beach house, and the bitty baby diaper changing station! Boys are so much easier!!!! The Z team and I finished decorating the tree yesterday and made a practice pumpkin and apple pie in prep for Thanksgiving. Mark brought the suitcases down from the attic so I can start packing for the trip. I have my lists started and this weekend I will start getting the supplies and gifts needed for the trip. So much to do and I usually am way better prepared than I am!!!!
Zeb started audiotherapy last week and while it can be a challenge to keep the headphones on him for 30 minutes twice a day it is working. Sunday I was able to cradle my son for the 1st time! He has sensory processing disorder and he struggles with loud noises, touch and visual processing. He was singing for the 1st time monday afternoon! I have been shedding many tears this week for my son! To be able to cuddle him and he not fight me the whole time is the greatest thing! His singing is so so sweet. I can't wait to start the next step and see what else he has been hiding from us! I am falling more and more in love with Zeb everyday! He is such a neat kid with so much to offer the world. I am so thankful for a therapy team who listens and is willing to work with us to help Zeb reach his full potential. On Monday Zeb is going in for testing. He turns 3 in Dec and no longer is eligible for the First steps program.
Saturday we take the kids to see Santa and get Zebs picture taken for his 3rd birthday. I am looking forward to a few weeks of very obedient children with the Santa is watching threat!!! I Love Christmas!!!!!!
We have a Zac update, we sent a care package a few weeks ago and asked for measurments etc... He is 39 inches tall and 33 lbs. So he is just shorter than Zoe and just bigger than Zeb! Nancy C if you are following this I will have virtual triplets!
Last but not least I will wrap my ramblings up with a HUGE THANK YOU to 3 angels who have been so generous to help us with our travel to China! Thank you is not enough but is all I have to give and a prayer that God blesses you in so many ways. I was losing my stance on faith and you restored my hope that God will see this through to completion and he has not forgotten us! Thank you so much!!!!!

Hi hun! Sorry it has been so long since I stopped by, just crazy busy with stuff. So, did you guys decide to change your son's name from Noah to Zac? I LOVE it! I like the idea of all 3 Z's in the family. That is so cute! It sounds like you guys have got just about everything ready to go. Not too much longer huh? It seems like it has been such a long time and I can't wait for you guys to bring Zac home finally.

I love the Halloween photos you posted and the kids are looking great! C'mon TA!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Hugs,
Jonni
